People, I would like to explain just one simple thing to you...

For those who had arrived recently and those who have worked for the company so hard for 50 or more hours - I know that this is not too attractive because you are all too overworked and so. But...

It is very simple - if you won't manage yourselves to find time and enthusiasm to learn English to a good level - you will always be treated like dogs from your employer. An you know why?

Because:
1) you won't be able to stand for your right at work (because you can't speak English);
2) you won't be able to ask union help (because you can't speak English);
3) you won't be able to ask help from Citizens Advice Bureau (because you can't speak English);
4) you won't be able to raise a grievance (because you can't write English);
5) you won't be able to represent yourself in Employment Tribunal Court (because you can't speak/write English).

Now you might think that you can get help from your friends who know English, but unfortunately it doesn't work like that. With every translator you may take with yourself for help - there is a risk that it won't exactly be what you are saying.
Besides, especially at work people are just afraid to be translators for others because they have their own problems and they do not need another trouble....

So my advice to you:
First, learn to UNDERSTAND english,
then learn to SPEAK,
then practice to WRITE english.

If not, you will always be a slave to the system.
And believe me, where there are sheep - there always be shearers!!

It would be appreciated if some of this idea would be translated into polish/slovak

Wiec moja rada do Was jest taka:
Po pierwsze nauczcie sie ROZUMIEC angielski,
nastepnie nauczcie sie ROZMAWIAC,
i w koncu praktykujcie swoj angielski w pismie.
